Frisnes gikk ned på Søreflaket ved Hummerskjærene nær Oksøy fyrhus under
en reise fra Svelgen til Oslo den 5. Juli 1964 med en last av jern.
Ombord på Frisnes var en besetning på fire mann som alle kom fra ulykken
uten skader. Idag hviler vraket av Frisnes på en dybde fra fem til tretti
meter, og er et populært dykkemål selv om stedet er utsatt for hardt
vær. For å komme ut til vraket av Frisnes trenger man en båt...
The motorship Frisnes went downon the Søreflaket
at Hummerskjærene near Oksøy lighthouse during a journey from
Svelgen to Oslo on 5. July 1964 with a cargo of iron. Onboard
Frisnes was a crew of four men who all got away form the accident
without injuries. Today the wreck of Frisnes rest on a depth of
five to thirty meters, and is a popular divesite even if the place
is exposed to harsh weather. To get out to the wreck of Frisnes
you need a boat...
