Den
tyske jageren Wolf var del av 6. Torpedoflotte, og arbeidet besto stort
sett av eskortering og minelegging. Den 8. Januar 1941 var Wolf ute
på oppdrag med med å minelegge den Engelske Kanal, da hun gikk på en
mine utenfor den franske byen Dunkirk og sank. Vraket hviler idag på
en dybde av tjuetre meter i god stand og er lett tilgjengelig for dykkere......
The German destroyer Wolf was part of
6. Torpedoflotte, and the work consisted mostly of escort service
and minelaying. On 8. January 1941 was Wolf out on a mission
to lay mines in the English channel, when she hit a mine outside
the French city of Dunkirk.and sank. The wreck rest today on
a depth of twenty three meters in agood condition and is easily
available for divers...
