V-5706 was built as a whaleboat, but the Norwegian navy put the ship in service as a guard boat. After the German invasion of Denmark and Norway in April 1940, "Treff" was given a 76mm gun and put in service under German flag as V-5706. The ship sank on the 16. June 1941 at Nessaskjæret near Stokksund after a stranding. The wreck of V-5706 rest on a depth of thirtyfive to fortyfive meters and is in a good condition.
